Awards can be a cherished honour in your chosen industry / profession - So make sure that you enter / apply for anything that is industry related . . .

You may not win . . . But do not be dis-heartened, just the fact that you have entered will get you recognition & you need to be recognised as a leader in your chosen field - so at this point the fact you have entered will get you publicity . . .

Mayor of Bournemouth Volunteering Awards

The award ceremony was held at Bournemouth’s Town Hall, where we got to meet the Mayor Edward J Coope and Mayoress Janet C Coope and celebrate achievements in volunteering on behalf of The Samee Project

Volunteering can be incredibly rewarding as you are able to put your previous experience and expertise to good use. You develop new relationships, learn new things and build on your existing skills.
You also have the satisfaction of knowing your work makes a real difference to real people.

Significant increase in number of 16-18 year-olds not in work or school

While youth unemployment figures have fallen slightly overall, those under the age of 25 are still three times less likely to be in a job or education . . .

The number of 16-18 year-olds not in education, employment or training (Neet) has risen significantly in the past year, latest government statistics show.
