Sam has always had an entrepreneurial streak and her first business was a wedding coordination company called Roses & Garters, but her mentoring work and being a mother of a disabled child ultimately changed Sam’s career direction, leading her to create her exceptional charity, SAMEE. A Charity boss who has helped hundreds of people with disabilities to start their own business is to advise the government.
Samantha Everard runs the award-winning, Bournemouth-based SAMEE – which stands for Support and Mentoring Enabling Entrepreneurship.
She will work alongside Justin Tomlinson, minister for disabled people, health and work, in an unpaid position as the south west chair of the government’s new Regional Stakeholder Network.
Sam Everard has received the award for IOEE Member of the Year 2019 . . .
Sam’s principle is to work with those furthest away from the world of work and deliver in a style which engages them, increases self-confidence and motivation.
Sam is also a business and progression mentor with over 10 year’s experience, the skills workshops that Sam has written and one to one workshops that she offers are tailored to meet the needs of people including the provision of all inclusive equipment for children with disabilites on the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) schools project.
