As a leader of various sales teams, I’ve built a career working with and developing salespeople - my own and my client’s - across a range of sectors including dentistry, engineering and explosives spanning the UK, America, Australia, China and a many European countries.

Although I started out in aircraft engineering with Rolls-Royce, I quickly realised that selling was what I was destined for. Working my way up through sales, management and training functions to become European Sales & Marketing Director for KerrHawe/Sybron dental Specialties.

In 2005 myself and 2 partners set up Medenta Finance Ltd. Within 6 years, our fabulous team had built the business through reputation alone, from zero to £25,000,000 per year in treatment finance, selling to Practice Plan Ltd in 2011. Proof you can exceed targets with the right sales approach.

Fast forward a few years and I developed Profitable Conversation to give clients access to a range of flexible training programmes to suit their business.

Having spent more than 40 years in business in the UK, America and Europe, I have built a wide knowledge of the inner workings of successful companies and yet I still feel that my biggest moment was appearing on the BBC Children’s programme “Why don’t you …” in 1973

Likes :

• Ultimately, I am happiest sat at my beach hut, with a large single malt whisky in hand
• Wearing Lycra and cycling long, long distances

• Negativity
